Effective Sentences

Today we are briefly looking at how to create effective sentences.

There are four types of sentence:
1) A simple sentence, which has one main clause.
2) A compound sentence, which has two main clauses.
3) A complex sentence, which has one main clause and one subordinate clause.
4) A compound-complex sentence, which has two main clauses and at least one dependent clause.
